Why Steel
Our bikes are steel. Basically we think it is the best material for bikes.
Steel Steel and more Steel
Why you may ask. Steel has a natural ability to be shaped into amazing bikes, makes for a nice forgiving ride in comparison to Aluminum. And there is a nice long history of steel, hence the common steel bike slogan "steel is real."
What you see in the photo above is a raw Columbus Steel tubset. This and a whole lot of work will eventually become a custom frame. Can't you just see it now...
