We've got a road frame...and we can make more. The 1st Shootout had a slightly difficult beginning. But it's doing well now. The painter decided to damage the frame while painting, hence why we've started CCCP, or Clark Custom Cycles Paint. But anyway. As with all things custom you can get whatever you want. This one has an S&S coupler kit and is running a full Campy gruppo with a FSA cranks.
Introducing the Shootout
So here is the first Shootout road frame. Finished at just about the wrong time of year for a road bike but hey. Things don't always come to fuition right when conditions are ideal. This beautifully lugged piece of steel is equiped with an S&S coupler kit for easy packing and travel and as with all custom bikes from Clark Custom Cycles is tailored like a Savile Row bespoke suit. It just fits right...
Just Why is it called the Shootout?
There is a training ride in Arizona, lead by a good friend who. This ride will teach respect to the young bucks out there. Head out on a break and you will get punished for it. As a training ride it's sometimes a bit more like a shootout at the OK Corral. You can gain a lot of experience, or get shot out the back of the pack. It is all about attitude.
Roads a go go...
Custom steel road frames...more forgiving than aluminum, more durable than carbon whats to loose. As this is custom, we've got a lot of options...and can do everything from shimano or campy compatible, and if you are really nice, we can integrate carbon seat stays into the steel frame.
Really, the fun part is that these are custom...you can get whatever you want.
